What is it about?
This is a joint project of Ecopil and Marymount Connect which aims to raise awareness of the importance of pollinators through the realization of 5 specialized gardens for them.
In each garden there will be specific flora for both diurnal pollinators (bees, butterflies, beetles, hummingbirds, etc.) and nocturnal pollinators (mainly bats and moths) to approach. We want to provide them with a safe space so that they can approach and have a safe source of food, this naturally promotes the pollination of more flowers around, causing an increase in the biodiversity of each area, as well as strengthening food security , conservation of wooded areas, health and in general, life .
The five gardens will take place in Huichapan (Hidalgo), Apaxco and Naucalpan in the State of Mexico and in the state of Morelos we will focus on Temixco and Colegio Marymount Campus Cuernavaca.
How will we do it?
In order to implement it, we need your help. First we need to prepare the land, then design and plan, to finally implement the pollinator garden with flowers in the region. But that's not all, they will be maintained for a full year , in addition to being an accessible center for more people (neighbors and / or students) to learn about pollinators and the type of plant they pollinate to promote it in their homes and with This will create a network of pollinators for life .
Each pollinator garden will be a training center for citizen science… but what is citizen science and what is it for? It is a way of bringing science to people through platforms for its registration, because from our phones we can make species registrations that are used for scientific studies. Therefore, with each garden as a training center, workshops will be offered around pollinators and their monitoring through citizen science as we want to reach more and more people.

How long is this project going to last?
During the months of May to August, each space will be prepared for the creation of gardens in the five venues within the State of Mexico, Hidalgo and Morelos.
What is this project about?
Make five spaces so that pollinators (from insects, birds and some mammals) have a place of shelter and food.
We want to raise awareness from children, youth and adults about pollinators, since they are the basis of life on the terrestrial planet.
Let's get to know our pollinators, take care of it and support Pollinators for Life, or implement your garden for pollinators and create a Pollinators for Life network!
How can I see the final product?
Both on our official page and on our social networks we will be uploading the progress of each garden and we will publish our adorable donors.
It should be noted that the places where the Pollinators for Life gardens will be found are public, so you can visit them and verify their installation and care in person ... and why not? Take a selfie next to the project you supported (Don't forget to tag us @Ecopil).
What is the key benefit of pollinating gardens?
Support directly with a project on pollinators and promote local biodiversity.
As well as the promotion of environmental services offered by pollinators and seed dispersers so necessary for balance in terrestrial areas.
In addition to this, according to your donation you have a small support from us in gratitude for your support and for believing in us.
